Hello Friends and Family! Wow, I’m so glad to be back with you! This summer has been so full for our family, and we’re really looking forward to connecting with as many of you as possible at the picnic today. If you’ve ever wanted to see me squirm – other than when Kimberly kissed me during her talk two weeks ago – make sure to come out today for the Pastor Dunk time. In keeping with our SPLASH theme, we’re going to have all our pastors in the dunk tank from 3:00 – 4:30.We’ll have a great time together and get to watch as several people “Go Public For Jesus” and get baptized.Our summer series is called, “The Jesus Stories: Capturing the Hearts of Ordinary People.” Each week, we’re talking about a story Jesus told and trying to understand how that story impacted the hearts of His original audience. Today, I will guide us through one of Jesus’ stories called “The Parable of the Pharisee and Tax Collector.” We’re going to learn how God views our efforts to gain His approval.Listening for God’s clarity,Pastor Ron
