A native Houstonian, Dr. Monique Y. Wells has lived a fascinating life as a veterinary pathologist and toxicologist, world traveler, entrepreneur and arts enthusiast. She has lived in Paris for 20 years and operates Discover Paris, providing Afro-centric guided tours of Paris.

Dr. Wells is the founder of The Wells International Foundation (WIF) is a U. S. non-profit organization whose mission is to empower individuals – especially women and persons of African descent – by exposing them to educational and cultural opportunities that will allow them to experience a richer, more fulfilling life.
