Lucky 7!
This week we spoke to Egis, in this episode you will hear how a soon-to-be-father parts ways with his beloved toy. This was a rollercoaster of emotions, from joy to sadness yet plenty of excitement for what lies ahead. Egis, a car lover by nature, has closed a huge chapter in his car life to open room for an even bigger adventure, one that I am certain he will succeed in. And who knows? maybe in the future his children pressure him into owning an even cooler car!
Best of luck Egis and thank you for letting me record the episode in the LC500. I hope this episode helps immortalize your memories you had with your car.
This week we speak to a true gearhead, someone who's love for cars led him to build one, and what a car did he build. None other than an Atom, or in his case, an Altra.
Mark's love for convertibles and roadsters is shown throughout his years of car ownership. So now the question begins, what is his next vehicle?
This week in the parking lot, we spoke to Cam. An absolute menace behind the wheel. During our conversation, He talked to us about his roadtrips, family stories and his many accidents.
I think the only family that was happy about the COVID quarantine was Cam's since that meant he would not be driving for a while. Our guest says he has improved his driving, one thing is for sure though. I am not letting him drive my car anytime soon!
Let's just hope his insurance is not listening to this podcast...
This week we spoke to Eric, a car enthusiast, a father and a husband who shares his passion with his entire family. For Eric, cars are not just a tool to get from point A to point B, for him, cars are a vessel for making memories.
American muscle cars, German classics, Asian sedans, minivans; Eric has owned and driven countless cars, yet, he keeps coming back to a handful that bring him joy and allow him to connect with his family.
Offroading with a Toyota Siena, mountain passes in Switzerland with a Volvo, speed run on the Bonneville Salt Flats with his Kia, Eric always finds a way to make a car that most would consider boring, into an unforgettable vehicle.
Now, his and his wife's passion, will continue to live through their children, who have begun their car ownership with two icons of the automotive world.
This week we talked to Diego about his Volkswagen CC. A new found love that he paid a bargain for, Diego did not let his budget or his daily needs stop him from getting a fun vehicle to drive. His "Comfort Coupe" (CC) lets him enjoy his commute, yet it is comfortable for whatever life throws at him.
Diego reminds us that our vehicles don't have to be expensive to be enjoyable, there are hidden gems out there that, with a little bit of love and grease, can outshine any car in the parking lot...
This week we talked to Ben about his ford Taurus. A car that has been loyal to him from the start, cheap, reliable and confortable. 234,000 miles and still running strong...
Sometimes you don't need a fancy car, sometimes you need an "Old Blue" AKA Betty White. Betty survided two accidents with wildlife, a move across the country and multiple exes. Ben took care of Betty and Betty took care of Ben and they both showed us that having a "boring car" is never boring.
In our first episode, we talk to Arnie, a Mazda enthusiast who is in love with his baby.
From not knowing anything about cars and maintenance, Arnie decided to purchase a used ND Miata and learn all of the ins and outs required to upkeep it.
He does all of the maintenance himself and meticulously logs every single item into a spreadsheet. Arnie loves his Miata, and you can tell.
The amount of time, money and effort that he has put into this vehicle is the reason why I started this podcast. Arnie has created a bond with his Miata (Frankie) that is hard to replicate but beautiful to witness.

The Parking Lot is not your typical car show/podcast, we do not focus on supercars, what car goes around the Nürburgring the fastest or what car has the fastest 0-60mph. We talk about regular cars…
