The NRL have released both the Round 1 draw for the NRL and also the 2025 State of Origin series dates for both the men and the womens series.

I go through each of the Round 1 games and also the State of Origin series dates with a little chat about each one of them ahead of the full draw to be released on Thursday 21st November at 11am AEDT. Pencil the dates in rugby league fans.

Back to the fans and members series of interviews and this time its with a gentlemen by the name of Glenn Gorick. You may not have heard of his name but you will want to hear his story.

Glenn is a big Cronulla Sharks fan and was once a board member on the clubs board but is also a helicopter pilot, triathlete, retired NSW Police sergeant, has a tv spot on the Erin Molan news show on Fox News and is also a major contributor to the Mark Hughes Foundation through the Big Three Trek walks which raises money for brain cancer and also the Glenn McGrath Foundation which raises money for breast cancer research and awareness.

Rugby League for season 2024 is now done and dusted with the Pacific Championships being played and won by Australia in both the mens and womens games.

Australia will play Tonga in the Pacific Cup final for men

Australia will play NZ in the Pacific Cup final for women

NZ will play PNG in the promotion/relegation game for the men and

PNG will play Samoa in the womens relegation/promotion game

Its the end of an era at the Parramatta Eels as captain Clint Gutherson departs the club after coming to a mutual agreement to get out of his contract for 2025.

I talk about my thoughts about Gutho as a fan of the Eels and him going through a few stats, moments and whatever sprung to mind. Gutho was the heart and soul of the Eels and we wish him all the best in the future and say thank you for playing in the blue and gold of the Eels.
