Edward Kerr is the Co-Founder and CEO of Practis, a patented role-play technology platform that helps organizations build conversational fluency across their sales and customer-facing teams. Before launching Practis, Ed spent nearly two decades as a professional actor, appearing in more than 100 episodes of primetime television and feature films. Drawing on his performance background, he recognized the gap in how companies train people for critical business conversations and developed an automated conversation simulator—first launched as a consumer app featured by Apple, and later expanded into an enterprise solution. A graduate of Vanderbilt University and a Kansas City native, Ed is passionate about helping professionals gain confidence through practice. He now leads Practis from Kansas City, where he lives with his family.
