What keeps each Enneagram Type trapped, and what helps it move toward freedom? Drawing on the work of Oscar Ichazo, the Desert Fathers, and modern Enneagram teachings, they explain how each Type has a characteristic form of suffering called a Passion that reinforces the ego structure, and a corresponding Virtue that opens the way back to the true self. Through examples and reflections, they unpack why the Passions often remain hidden in plain sight and how the Virtues offer a practical path toward growth.
