GOD'S STORY: The Passover — Exodus 12

 

In the Passover, we are reminded of the salvation that God graciously gives through the shedding of the innocent blood of the lamb.

 

  1. God faithfully FULFILLS His promises. (Genesis 15:13-14; Exodus 3:16-22)
  2. God provides RESCUE through the shedding of the innocent blood of the lamb. (Exodus 12:1-13)
  3. Salvation is activated by FAITH in God’s plan for rescue. (Exodus 12:21-31)
  4. Rescue has been made possible only by the BLOOD of Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:9; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 1:7; Hebrews 13:12; 1 Peter 1:18-19)
