Communion is a memorial of a past sacrifice.  But it's also a signpost of a future triumph-- the return of our King in glory and power.  As we partake of the body and blood of Jesus through His grace, we pledge ourselves to be royal representatives of His coming reign.  It begins in us, right here and now, because of what He did then and there on Golgotha.
