In this episode we spend most of our time discussing the new Advanced Player’s Guide for Pathfinder 2e. Tom couldn’t be more excited about the new archetypes. In fact, he’s so excited he’s already picked out archetypes for all of the players. Only time will tell if we players approve of his choices. Meanwhile, JT is still pining away for her hard-copy. Will it ever arrive? Or will JT be forced to settle for mere PDF’s? 

Tom uses the Pathfinder discussion to delve deeper into why we play pen and paper RPG’s. What led us to our first RPG experience and what keeps us coming back? We each have our own ‘origin’ story when it comes to roll-playing, but all agree that the camaraderie and experience of crafting a story with friends is what keeps us coming back for more.
