Nehemiah 8:10

Matthew 5:1-10

STEPS on the path to HAPPINESS & JOY:

1) Realize that you are in need of God - verse 3

2) Lament / mourn over our sins - verse 4

3) Happy are the humble - verse 5

4) "I must be in right relationship with God" - verse 6

5) Show mercy - verse 7

6) Genuine in heart; authentic - verse 8

7) Be a peacemaker - verse 9

8) Be happy when being persecuted for doing right - verse 10

ALL happiness and ALL joy come from God and our relationship to Him through Jesus.
