The Patient just wrapped up its first and only season on Hulu and after a somewhat pedestrian start managed to stick the landing. Steve Carell plays a therapist chained against his will in a serial killer's basement, which is not recommended. The series is quick, digestible and feels like a play with thoughtful dialogue and more than a few chilling moments.
