Welcome back To the Table. It seems only appropriate that today’s episode is all about peace. Where does our peace come from? How do you find peace when things aren’t going to way you want them to? How do you share peace with others? We hope you leave this conversation feeling encouraged regardless of what is happening around you – HE is our peace, and He never leaves us.
John 14:25-27 – These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not
1 Kings 19:11-12 – And he said, “Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.
Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Matthew 5:9 – Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20 – For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
Romans 12:18 – If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
John 16:33 – I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
