Who do you say that Jesus is?
Every person in the Easter story has a different interaction
with Jesus. You are either indifferent
to Him, threatened by Him, or you realize that He is King.
Pilate thought he was in control of the situation
surrounding Jesus. To pacify the crowd
he handed Jesus over to be crucified.
But, control was an illusion.
Jesus went to the cross on His own; He didn’t need the people shouting, “Crucify
him!”
It is incomprehensible that a King would die for His
servants. Yet, that is exactly what
Jesus did.
