Randall Cooper has worked in elite sport throughout the world as a Physiotherapist for decades.  A quiet achiever, super smart,  clever businessman, a very good snow skier, capable swimmer, gifted musician, great family man and loyal friend. 
 
He is a very talented human being. 
  
After a near death experience as a 16 year old with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, it provided him with the clarity of knowing exactly what he wanted to do with his life by helping people in the sports medicine space. Out of high school, he couldn't get to University quick enough to complete his degree in Physiotherapy and feed his intense thirst for knowledge in that space. It just made sense to him.
  
His resume is as good as it gets. Co-Head Physio for Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL, working with athletes in the Australian Institute of Sport  and part of the Physio team for the Australian Winter Olympics Team fulfilling a lifelong dream.
  
In recent years, Randall & his wife Jane had an idea and eventually took the plunge pivoting away from the day to day grind of being a Physio creating a sports skin care range called 'PreMax' which is now one of the highest selling skin care for sport brands in Australia. 
  
If that wasn't enough, he has also created an online physio learning platform called "Learn Physio" which provides health professionals all over the world with high quality, evidence based learning experiences from wherever they are, whenever they choose. 
 
As we said, Randall Cooper is a very talented human being.

George Haros has earnt everything he has in life thanks to his work ethic, talent, intelligence and overall charisma . 
 
Not everything has come naturally for him, but as an extremally capable person you won't find a harder worker especially once he decides he wants something with no stone left unturned.  Along the way, George doesn't lose sight of others around him and is very aware of the broader community along with his own - which is vast - always looking out for those close to him to bring along for the ride. His network is everything and he loves them as much as they love him.
 
 As a very capable, natural Lawyer who loves his sport, it seemed inevitable that he would find himself representing elite sports stars in some way, shape or form. After a short career in AFL Player Management he has been at the forefront of litigation when Adam Saad from the St. Kilda Football Club found himself under scrutiny for allegedly taking a banned substance and Andrew Thorburn almost become the CEO of Essendon Football Club. However, it was when Israel Folau made international news after expressing his religious beliefs sparking a debate that continues to polarize Australian sport to this day, where he found out what it was like to be an elite Lawyer in the spotlight. 
 
 As an expert is Employment Law as well George's fully rounded skills and experience make him one of Melbourne's most sought after Lawyers.
 
 George loves his mates and family with every part of his being and continues to add his story which is a great one so far with more ups than downs living a life that this podcast is all about.

Craig Shearer is one of those people you just want to be around. Charismatic, intelligent, funny, curious, incredibly ambitious, a team player and a real goer.
 
 As a country boy born & bred who has spent the large majority of his life around footy clubs and pubs, you could potentially make some assumptions and think you know what he may be like .... but you'd be very wrong !  
 
 Like many of us, Craig loves being around people so there is no coincidence that in both AFL footy and the hospitality industry he has been very successful. Having said that, he's had his own issues reconciling some of this along the way and where it all sits for him which he opens up about in this episode. I guess we all have our demons many don't know about.
 
 Craig has had a few really sad things happen to him along the journey of life so far including the horrendous period of the 2020 covid lockdowns in Victoria without being able to trade which is clearly the lifeblood of owning pubs. It was a tough time to say the least but in hindsight gave him and his team an opportunity to really show who they were . So much so that 3-4 years later they are now winning important National Industry Awards turning over $100m per year across all venues in Australia. 
 
 It's a terrific story of grit, talent, fun, cheekiness and determination full of vulnerability where Craig lives our mantra of bringing people together and finding the balance between working hard and having fun.

Tatam Fairclough has been an elite dancer her entire life and growing up, was a star on the rise. You name it she could do it - Ballet, Theatrical, Jazz, Tap, Cabaret & Musical Theatre all day every day! She belonged on stage and was the envy of many with her performances despite hiding her anxiety behind what she describes as her 'Japanese mask.' Something all performers can relate to I'm sure .

Tatam practiced 15+ hours per day as a young child / teenager while obsessively learning to dance. Before school,  throughout the day at 'John Curtin Performing Arts High School' in Fremantle, WA and then again after school. It was fun and relentless at the same time and all she really knew growing up. 

In 2013, Tatam found her calling and put these dancing and organisational skills towards creating a business she named 'Dance Inclusion' that's just had it's 10 year anniversary (2023).  The large majority of the participants in Dance Inclusion have special needs and isn't just any old dance class. It truly is something special. Tatam has used the power of music and dance at its core  to help people of all abilities feel a part of something that has such a huge influence on their happiness. 

Tatam is passionate that music and dance helps brings people together regardless of ability or  physical /mental hurdles they may face and spends her days doing exactly what she wants to do in this space helping others. In her own words, she "gets goose bumps every single day" from the reaction people get from her classes.

How good is that!  

This episode is VERY overdue given how much she spends helping others so we hope you enjoy the story of Tatam Fairclough.

When you think about it, we walk a path each day creating our story over time and Tim Curtis has lived a life that most couldn't imagine or even see on a movie. So the fact he lives with these past experiences daily with such optimism and thirst to learn about "what's next" while passionately helping others is nothing less than inspiring. 

Ending his Military career of 17 years as a  highly decorated Squadron Commander in the SAS at 34yrs of age, Tim has learned so much about how to survive - literally - both in times of war and now in normal life. All fuelled by resilience. 

When the Twin Towers were attacked on 9/11 in 2001, both Prime Minister John Howard and Peter Cosgrove turned to Tim to run, design and implement the Australian counter terrorist response arrangements for the Sydney 2000 Olympics. Amongst many other high levels roles, he has been the principal adviser to the Government of Sierra Leone, consulted to major resource and services companies on crisis and risk management, and held the appointment of the Director of the Joint Electoral Operations Centre in 2005 within the United Nations for the Afghanistan Parliamentary Elections. 

He has continually worked at the 'pointy end' trying to be the best elite version of himself all his life . However, he is the first to admit that he also needed to work on the simple things in life like being present and learning to be the father and husband he wanted to be again. Despite all of his success, it was THIS that changed his life forever.

Tim is supremely educated thanks to his desire to learn and high level of curiosity. He is pragmatic, measured,  intelligent, calm and his capabilities are off the charts.  For those of us who are lucky enough to know Tim, have read his book "The Resilience Shield,' have listened to him on his podcast 'Unforgiving60' or seen him in a seminar or retreat, this episode will show you another side of Tim and how he has become the man he is today. You will also learn key lessons relating to importance of resilience & finding a sense of belonging to something you love. 

Finally, Tim is great fun to have a beer or 3 with also!
