She introduced herself online as Raghda, a vulnerable woman claiming to have been sexually assaulted and forced into marriage. Through fabricated stories and emotional manipulation, she convinced Mustafa that the only way to free her was to kill her abusive husband, Mohamed. But “Raghda” was never real—she was actually Sheimaa, Mohamed’s wife, who had carefully crafted this persona to exploit Mustafa. In reality, Sheimaa wanted Mohamed out of the way so she could pursue a relationship with her lover, Mahmoud. The murder was carried out, but the elaborate scheme soon unraveled. Digital forensics exposed Sheimaa’s deception, tracing the false online identity back to her. Her manipulations, lies, and calculated use of Mustafa as a pawn became clear in court. Ultimately, she was arrested and sentenced to death, while Mustafa’s final fate remains uncertain, forever entangled in a crime born of deception and betrayal.
