Blind users of GPS devices and apps usually receive a lot of information through speech. To make it easier for them to process all of the information, BlindSquare uses a number of sounds to communicate different events. In this talk Ilkka Pirttimaa, developer, and Andre Louis, sound designer, explain how they use sounds to enhance the user experience.
