Today, Zahara is joined by Ailey Jolie, a psychotherapist who specializes in guiding humans into more intimate relationships–particularly those impacted by sexual abuse. As a victim of abuse herself, and having gained a great deal of insight from the perspective of both the victim and the perpetrator through numerous ayahuasca ceremonies, Ailey now withholds a unique perspective that allows her to truly empathize with those whose lives have been affected by this harsh reality of the world. In this transmission, Zahara and Ailey dive deep into the topics of abuse, the “predator imprint,” internalized misogyny, casual sex and how Ailey, despite her history of abuse, has managed to find love for her perpetrators.
