As Paul concludes chapter eight in his letter to the Romans, he finishes on the triumphant note, "...nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." The question that would naturally follow from the people of his day would be, what about Israel? Chapters nine through eleven are in answer to such a question.
