Leadership has to start somewhere. We don’t become a leader when we get into a position of leadership. We are all leaders. Everyone one of us. And leadership starts with the person in the mirror.

If you want to demonstrate that you can be a leader, make sure you lead yourself. Self-awareness is the first key to leadership. Self-discipline is the first demonstrative act of being a leader.

As we come to the end of one year, and look to the next year, think about how you lead yourself.
