So if pets can be so marvelous, why are so many of them abandoned in vacant lots or relinquished to shelters? The answer is often their inability to meet the owner’s expectations-. behaviors such as excessive barking, inappropriate elimination, hyperactivity or aggression. But is it their fault or ours of not understanding their psyche? Are these pets bad or just misunderstood and in need of some behavioral counseling?
