Angela Scott was 19 when she first volunteered for Chimparty. She's the whistleblower who got the evidence that exposed the animal cruelty in the Netflix documentary, "Chimp Crazy." Scott tells Emil Guillermo about the conditions chimps lived under, how the breeding process strips mother chimps from their young. And beyond the story of Tonka, there's the sad story about Conner, the Hallmark chimp.
Scott talks about what wasn't in the show, revealing more about Mike and Connie Casey. And what she thinks of Tonia Haddix.

There's optimism after two wins for the animals. PETA exposed the cruelty at the University of Washington lab of Fritzie Arce-McShane. One monkey was irradiated so frequently that it had to be euthanized.
In another development, the director of the Washington National Primate Research Center at UW, Michelle Basso, was ousted by the Board of Regents.
Hear why former UW primate scientist, now a PETA scientist, Dr. Lisa Jones-Engel, feels shutting down the lab is now a matter of time.
