In this episode, Billy and I discuss the 1996 superhero film The Phantom, directed by Simon Wincer and based on a newspaper comic strip from the 1930’s. This movie provided a healthy amount of contrast to modern superhero movies, especially movies like Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. Despite its lack of complexity, intensity, and over-the-top visual effects, we both had a great time watching and discussing something that is so far removed from our current exceptions. Hope you enjoy!
