This week we go on a traditional adventure into the imagination with the Chuck Jones classic from the year 1970 - The Phantom Tollbooth!

Aly discusses the biographies of our source materials author and illustrator: Norman Juster and Jules Feiffer.

Sarrah goes a bit more in-depth to the history and career of Chuck Jones (who you may remember from our Gay Purr-ee episode) and some of his more famous cohorts.

Together we wonder how exactly a ten-year-old kid can be so dead inside, what the purpose of these songs are, and avoid learning math.

So buckle on in to your child-size toy car, pay the toll and drive on through the tollbooth (only once, please) to a land of imagination and learning!
