Part 3:  The Pharisee and the Publican

Scripture: Luke 18:9-14

Our passage tells of two men, a Pharisee, and a Tax Collector, going to the temple to pray. Based on this Scripture we can spot the vulnerabilities of the religious: not life-giving righteousness, form lacking the power to manifest God, outward presentation without the inward love, and knowing the what but not the who.   

How can we move from knowing what it means to be religious to know Christ?
