Good morning. It’s Thursday, May 30th. It’s been a blast to the past for the Philly court system over the past week. A computer virus has shut down the city courts’ e-filing system, website, email and other major digital services. A notice posted on Twitter said that the virus was not a data breach or ransomware attack. The court computer shutdown took effect on the afternoon of May 21st after the virus was found on a limited number of computers.
