Presidential candidate and Senator Bernie Sanders was in Philadelphia Monday to rally with local hospital workers, residents and some political supporters against the closure of Hahnemann University Hospital. The hospital’s closure gave Sanders the opportunity to localize his biggest issue — Medicare for All — in a state that’s critical for Democrats in 2020.
