Good morning. It’s Tuesday, July 2nd. Two Philadelphia Energy Solutions employees have sued the company. They allege that it failed to comply with city and federal laws before they were fired. Their firings followed the devastating June 21st fire that crippled the South Philly refinery. The employees say the company didn’t give them 60 days notice of a layoff, which they say city and federal laws mandate. Those 60 days are designed to allow the workers to adjust and seek other jobs.
