Good morning. It’s Tuesday, July 9th. The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office will be able to prosecute some Philadelphia gun-related cases. The new law passed as part of a bill signed by Governor Tom Wolf last week. Debate has raged in the past weeks about the city’s gun violence. The new law was proposed by Martina White, a Republican from Northeast Philly who’s an ally of the police union.
