Good morning. It’s Friday, August 9th. Several New Jersey blueberry farms have been cited for breaking the state’s Water Pollution Control Act. Inspectors found that septic systems at farms were failing to capture sewage often just a couple of hundred feet from where blueberries grow. The sewage amounts to more than 2,000 gallons of filthy water, cooking grease, detergent and even human waste draining into the groundwater.
