Not a lot of people agree with how I view the difference between faith and belief. I only have this understanding from studying the historical and cultural etymology of the bible (Since as far as I can tell, this is where those concepts originated from). From that study, I now feel the appropriate language to describe my "spiritual" state, is that I DO NOT believe, but I do have faith.

Who says your idea of God, is God? I think to find the truth we need to let our ideas of him die, and I know doing this for myself, it's felt a like lot God himself has died, and maybe he has.

As a lot of you know, my parents are pastors. Our dinner conversation are always deep and sometimes they can get a bit heated. Love is a funny thing... What does it really mean? Well, whatever the case may be, the weight and power of the word has been lost. We throw it around like it means nothing. So how do we get it back? How do we give the word "LOVE" its power again?

One of the greatest lessons I've learned in life is that you don't learn from success. You learn when you fall, get up, repeat. The problem is a lot of people are afraid to fall, so they tip-toe around their dream or the person they want to become instead of diving towards failure, and failure is inevitable. So why not dive into it and "fall" in love with the process?

It's been a recurring practice in my life for quite some time now to be mindful of what actually matters in life and examining if what Im doing actually lines of with that. Am I working towards my goals, my dreams, and who I want to be, or am I just filling my time and space with nonsensical things that feel good in the moment but don't actually help me or anyone around me? I've noticed more than I'd like to admit that it's the latter, and I think this has become a MAJOR part of humanity that is really holding us back from who we all want to become.
