Regarded as one of the most influential English figures of the 17th century, Thomas Hobbes undoubtedly helped to shape the western philosophic tradition, most notably in the realm of politics with his seminal work "The Leviathan". I would be remiss if I did not add that it is my hope that this video will not be "Nasty, brutish, and short".
