This week we are sitting down for one of the most important conversations we have had on this show. Because what is happening to women and specifically to Black women right now cannot be ignored, minimized, or talked around anymore.

We are not here to judge. We are here to talk about it honestly the red flags, the different faces of abuse, why abusers do not change and what it means to protect yourself and your children when a relationship becomes dangerous. We are also honoring the stories of women we have lost and asking the hard question: what would it have taken for someone to intervene sooner?

This conversation is for the woman in it. The woman who just got out. The mother trying to protect her children. And every woman who loves someone she is worried about.
