The rules don't change just because you have money.

This week we're breaking down what actually matters after a divorce and it's not what most people think. It's not about the settlement, the car you bought, or the money you throw at the problem. It's about your kids.

Kids remember the small things. The way their parents treated each other. And whether they could call their mama when they needed to.

When you divorce, that person is still their parent. Forever. It doesn't matter what they did. It doesn't matter how angry you are. When your kids are on a roller coaster the first person they call is mama. That's not going to change.

What happens when your kids leave and suddenly you're thinking about marriage again?
