Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. There are a lot of ways to get from place to place. In Boise, the only thing that we are lacking is an interstate train. The Mayor of Boise would like to reopen the Pioneer line for passenger trains from Boise to Salt Lake City. The Mayor of Caldwell wants a passenger train to go even further, from Portland to Salt Lake City with stops throughout the Treasure Valley. Would you travel this line if it opened? Should the State of Idaho put money towards a train project? Is this a good or bad idea? Nate asked all of those questions, and you answered, in this three-hour transportation edition of the Nate Shelman Show.
