The Pitching Command Show with guest Marc Sauer, the national cross checker east scout for the Oakland A’s. Marc has had great success as a player being drafted in the 8th round by the Marlins in 1998 and playing 7 years of pro ball, then working for the Oakland A’s for over 15 years.
With everyone throwing hard nowadays, command is now the separator.
It’s no longer a choice between being either a power pitcher or a finesse pitcher today. You need to be both, velocity with command. Command is what separates pitchers from the pack today.
