What if transition is not delay… but preparation?
In this devotional reflection, The Place of Transition, we explore the imagery of the bronze laver found in Exodus 30 and the sacred space it occupied between the altar and the tabernacle.
The laver was not the destination, yet it was not without purpose. It was a place of washing, preparation, and movement—a reminder that God often works deeply within the seasons we are tempted to rush through.
Many of us know what it feels like to stand between what was and what will be. Between prayer and fulfillment. Between sacrifice and deeper fellowship. These in-between seasons can feel uncertain if we misunderstand them, yet scripture gently reminds us that transition is not abandonment. It is often evidence that God is still leading.
Through biblical reflection, storytelling, and devotional encouragement, this podcast considers how God uses transition to prepare, strengthen, and guide us toward deeper relationship with Him.The space between is not empty.God works there too.
Scriptures reflected on include Exodus 30:17–21, Hebrews 10:22, John 13, and related passages connected to cleansing, preparation, and drawing near.
Thank you for spending this time with me. I pray this reflection encourages your heart and reminds you that the God who begins the journey also walks faithfully with us through every season of becoming.
