The Places That Hold Us: Seasons, Travel & Memory

In January, when everything feels very January, I start craving a reset. And for me, that reset usually looks like a trip — not because of the destination, but because of what certain places hold.

In this episode, I’m sharing the trips that shaped different versions of me: family spring breaks that stacked memories, returning to places that hold grief, an off-the-grid Alaska adventure with my dad that changed me, couples trips that reminded me who we are together, girls trips that refill my cup, and the comfort of going home when life feels like too much.

This isn’t a travel guide. It’s a conversation about how places carry seasons, people, and pieces of who we were — and how sometimes the greatest gift of travel is the clarity we come home with.
