Whether you realize it or not, getting together to play games with your friends means agreeing to a contract with them. Some parts of that contract are near-universal: you agree not to cheat, for instance. But other parts can vary from one group to the next. Like, maybe you agree to play as hard as you can, or maybe you agree to go easy on each other. When disagree about the terms of the play contract, it can cause real problems.
