Welcome to episode 8 – "The Playwright"
It's not every day that you get to interview a Canadian Theatre Icon – but I had the opportunity to sit down with Judith Thompson and pick her brain. With the play opening tonight in Windsor at the Hatch Studio, I thought it was a good time to air this special episode!
Artistic Director of RARE Theatre Company, Judith is a playwright, director, actor and professor of theatre at the University of Guelph. She is the author of 15 published plays, many of which are performed all over the world.
Judith and I chatted about her process writing Watching Glory Die, her excitement of rewriting the piece to be for three actors and her hopes for Canadian indie theatre – have a listen!
