For months election workers and officials have been worried about attempts to undermine the 2024 election from Donald Trump, the GOP, their supporters and foreign actors. Trump and Republicans have continued to sew doubt and fight in courts while foreign adversaries target the campaigns. On the local level, thousands of election workers have called it quits after 2020. So what's going on and what can be done?
