Do you ever find yourself getting very anxious? You are sitting at your desk and realise you aren't breathing properly? Is it because you said something stupid at work, on a date, or in front of someone you are trying to impress? Does this cause you to spiral out of control thinking the most irrational thoughts about yourself and that everyone hates you? No? Well, it must be nice being so well-adjusted...

This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas finally complete their epic journey through the epic trilogy that is Peter Jackson's THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY!
After assembling a fellowship, a few grand battles, and a hell of a lot of walking, it all comes to a climax, as we cover THE RETURN OF THE KING. We're treated to the original endgame, with all the hallmarks of a modern blockbuster – a huge battle that brings together all the key players, a girl power sequence, lesser than characters getting their moment in the sun, friendships being tested, treachery, the main hero overcoming his biggest test and the big baddie being defeated. And there are 8 million endings!
Is this the greatest trilogy of all time? Sound off in the comments on Spotify or leave a review on Apple Podcast to let us know your favourite Trilogy, and join us as we return with The Return of the King in September.
"Come on, Mr. Frodo. I can't carry it for you... but I can carry you!"

In this bonus edition of The Pod Charles Cinecast, we once again enter SHYAMALAMANIA, where we are charting the films of M. Night Shyamalan in special Patreon exclusive episodes.
Join hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas, as they embark on a brand-new journey with M. Night, as he takes us to a pop concert where a father must do all he can to escape the show. Not because the music is terrible (I mean it's M. Night's daughter, so it's good right?). No, it's because he is secretly a serial killer and the police have the venue surrounded in hopes to catch him. That's not a twist or spoiler. M. Night have that away in the trailer.
Shyamalan's latest feature, TRAP? Tune in to find out. It's a super silly time, with a whole lot of nepotism, and not enough Kid Cudi. But it's M. Night's world, and we are just trapped in it!
"You know the Butcher? That freakin' nutjob that goes around just chopping people up? Well, the feds or whatever heard that he's gonna be here today, so they set up a trap for him. This whole concert? It's a trap."
What does it take to be a Master Shredder? We ain't talking about the villain from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles either. We're talking the likes of guitar wizards Steven Seagal and Corey Feldman, who continue to shock the world with Reddit AMAs and mind-shattering guitar solos that can only be verified for authenticity by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. Hide your dogs, because with these shredders are on the loose, no pup is safe!

In this bonus edition of The Pod Charles Cinecast, we are back in the world of SHYAMALAMANIA, where we are charting the films of M. Night Shyamalan in special Patreon exclusive episodes.
Join hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas, as they follow M. Night into the world of B-Movies, supposedly. Inspired by such classics as The Birds and The Blob, M. Night subverted audience expectations to bring them a film about a whole new kind of terror... nothing at all!
So, what really happened in M. Night Shyamalan's 2008 sci-fi / thriller, THE HAPPENING? With a cast that boasts Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo, and Succession's Jeremy Strong and Alan Ruck, it was a murderers row of actors who can go either way on the "are they bad or good" scale forced to compete with one of the worst scripts yet.
Not much may have been happening, but it surely was fun watching it happen. Even more fun when you have a look at M. Night fans seriously trying to defend it. To think this isn't even as bad as it gets...
"An act of nature, and we'll never fully understand it."
Do you have a collection of the weirdos you can't help but to follow on social media? Maybe it's someone you know from real life. Someone from school. Maybe it's someone you have seen out in the wild, but don't actually know them, but thought they were weird and found them on social media, and now you stalk their every move. Maybe YOU are the weirdo for someone else. This is about the freaks of Instagram...
