Don't Lose Sight Of The Squirrel

The Podcasting Paradox (All Gear, No Ideas)

Listen Later

I started this podcast thinking the production process would be the ultimate hurdle. I assumed that once I mastered the Shure microphone, the RØDECaster, and the steep learning curve of DaVinci Resolve Studio, I’d immediately get bored and move on to the next hobby.

Instead, I have hit a completely different wall: the terrifying blank page. In this episode, I explore the irony of building a high-tech broadcasting setup only to realise that mastering the gear is easy, but finding something to talk about every week is the real challenge. I also discuss my endless rabbit holes into audio editing, my suspicions of being tone-deaf, and whether this will be my penultimate episode.
