Live bands are a big part of many events. They can compliment an occasion or they can actually BE the primary draw; the event themselves. You have to be ready for anything and tailoring your delivery to each scenario is critical. In this session, I recount at least 4 different situations that required a different approach so it's important that you take note of why they differed and why they were necessary in each scenario. I discuss passive vs active eye contact and how to use it to your advantage. I discuss a different microphone technique that we haven't touched on yet in this series but it is important. And I breakdown the many differences between the indoor vs the outdoor concert setting. Aside from the obvious, you will be surprised at how many missed details can lead to potential disaster for the event, and therefore for you as the Master of Ceremonies.
