The Podski with John Baker

The Podski’s 1999 WWF Summer Tour continues! Join us this week as we rewatch and review the official Weekly Debut of WWF Smackdown!

Austin is on the shelf, Triple H is the champ, The Fink is the Warrior, and Shane-O Mac is out of control!

This was a loaded show, with The Rock in the main event, and Chris Jerichos WWF in ring debut.

We also cover all sorts of behind the scenes happenings- including WWF going public, and update some rumors on talent making the jump.

As always- we hope you enjoy listening as much as we did rewatching and recording. What were your thoughts on this show? Comment below and let us know!

It’s the Hottest Show of the Summer, from 20 years ago!

The boys have been very Raw-centric the past few 2004 shows, but it is time to rewatch and review the WWE’s first co-branded show since Wrestlemania- Summerslam 2004!

Listen in as John and Teddy hop into the Summerslam Enterprise and go maximum warp to catch up on all things happening on the Smackdown brand in July 2004. Once we catch up our two brand’s timelines, we take you through the matches and angles happening on Raw and Smackown in August, and finish with our review of the show that brought us the youngest WWE World Champion in history!

We also talk WWE business, give updates on what’s going on behind the scenes, and throw out some rumors and ideas being pitched around all of the main angles of the show.

Was crowning Randy too early, too late, or just right? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
