The most familiar carol says “…Hail the heaven born Prince of peace. Hail the Sun of righteousness. Light and life to all He brings. Risen with healing in His wings…” It is found in the last book of the Old Testament, written by the final prophet of that testament, a man named Malachi. The verse is Malachi 4:2, which says, “But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.”

And that is what today’s episode is all about. Jesus, the S-O-N of GOD, who is also referred to as the S-U-N of righteousness. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
