Growing up in the church is a good thing. Samuel was a “church kid” or in his case a tabernacle kid. He knew the songs and prayers and rituals by heart. While all of these experiences were a great way to grow up, Samuel still didn’t know God. In this week’s Scripture passage we get to see God reveal himself to the young boy.
