    1. Commander death and exile triggers rules change
      1. Why do we think this is?
        1. Maybe because Commander is a way to express yourself, and that’s something people need now more than ever
        2. I’ve had more time to talk with folks while we play, and I’ve gotten to know more people, more intimately
        3. There’s almost always this time after the game, where we all turn the cameras to our faces, and just chat. Find out what things folks are struggling with in their lives, and hear their successes 
    2. Commander is an inherently social game, and we’ve seen the community come together during these trying times.
      1. It’s cool that we are getting to play with so many people we would rarely get to play with. We’ve gotten to play with many patrons, and it feels like a silver lining
      2. Shout out to SpellTable for developing a platform designed specifically for playing Magic via webcam
      3. Getting to play decks that are not part of our normal Meta

  •  “Second, it seems that the bigger card stores (f.i. SCG) have a small amount of available stock of popular cards left. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, people will have more logistical trouble selling their collections at LGS's but also at MagicFests and other venues. This could result in a lower supply of secondary market cards. The demand for popular cards could surpass the supply much faster than during normal circumstances. This causes the stock to dry up and prices to rise due to organic demand. Not because cards are in higher demand, but in lower supply. Do note that this is speculation on my part, based on what I see and hear on the socials.”
