We become a kingdom citizen by becoming a disciple of Jesus; a follower of Jesus. Jesus was the embodiment of the kingdom; he was the consummate example of what a kingdom citizen looks like. Following Jesus means an increasing likeness to him. A disciple of Jesus by following him grows in kingdom characteristics.
