The Power in Gratitude

Listen Later

In today's episode, Pamela and I discuss the power in expressing gratitude.

We define what gratitude is, and what it can look like in your life. We share stories of how gratitude allows us to connect positive dots in our own lives and how this cultivates a life outlook of being grateful.

We talk about the many benefits of expressing gratitude daily or weekly. The health benefits in the form of improved mental clarity, improved mood and mental health, as well as the many physical benefits (better health, stronger immunity, less aches and pains, and better sleep).

We also give some tactical ways in which you can develop a "gratitude practice" in your life. We give examples of what that can look like and how you can implement it.

Ending the episode we give a rundown, as well as an explanation as to why it's important to express gratitude and appreciation for yourself, even when it feels difficult.

Feeling grateful allows you to truly take stock of what your thankful for and what truly matters.
