In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Simon Lau, VP Product at Otter.ai. Otter.ai is a California-based technology company that develops speech-to-text transcription applications utilizing artificial intelligence and machine learning.

We take a deep dive into how you can use Otter.ai to be more productive and utilize it for your day-to-day workflow.

We discuss how podcasters utilize Otter as well as entrepreneurs and the education sector. We also discuss how you can integrate it with Zoom and the Clubdeck app for your Clubhouse rooms.

Some ways I use Otter:

• Taking notes when I am on a webinar
• Taking notes for Clubhouse rooms (disclose that you are recording the room)
• Responding to emails (instead of typing out the email, I record my response and save the link, it saves me so much time and makes it easier to explain more difficult concepts
• VIP Day, can record utilizing Otter and then use the notes to create a summary of key points discussed

Other ways you can use Otter:

• To write your book, you can speak and Otter can transcribe and this will save you hours when it comes to writing a book or e-book.
• Taking notes in school or college
• Integrate with Clubdeck to take notes for your Clubhouse rooms
• Record your Zoom meetings
• Send your Otter Assistant to attend a meeting on your behalf and take notes for you
