Picture this: You're a black woman in the hospitality industry facing an uphill battle of closed doors, microaggressions, and self-doubt. Sound familiar? I'm thrilled to have Stacia Harvey Randall, the co-founder and vice president of the nonprofit organization Black Women of Hospitality, joining me today. Stacia is a beacon of resilience, overcoming challenges and emerging as a leader in an industry where the advancement of people of color is often hindered. We dive deep into her inspiring journey, her insights into the industry, and the often overlooked power of how community service can enhance mental health.
